I’m Sofia (Ahmed) Diarra, a freelance Language Specialist ✏🎞💻 working from English and Spanish into French (FR/BE)

As a graduate with a master's degree in translation, I’m specializing in audiovisual translation and localization. I have worked on projects for high-profile end clients such as Amazon, Netflix, Disney, and Guinness World Records, meeting the high standards and tight deadlines required by global brands.

This experience has strengthened my ability to follow strict style guides, adapt content to target audiences, and deliver high-quality, culturally accurate translations.

My favorite fields are Christian theology, audiovisual media, and beauty, but I also enjoy translating in other disciplines. For example, I have extensive translation experience in IT and healthcare.

I only translate into French, my mother tongue, to ensure quality. I’m a Belgian currently living in the north of France, therefore I provide services to Belgian and Parisian French.

I'm also a data annotator who has worked with clients such as Mercor, Toloka and Centific. I have experience LLM output flagging and evaluation, including results comparison and quality analysis. I also performed user experience feedback and Technical/LQA on several projects.

Furthermore, I’m a volunteer in the YouVersion Bible App localization team.
